Hybride entre Sorbus aria et Sorbus aucuparia. Arbuste ou arbre assez élevé,
Écologie : (répartition d'après la flore) Planté chez nous, très rare. Specimens greffés par un particulier sur les souches des parentes
Répartition hors de France : Peut-être spontanée cà et là.

Hybrid between Sorbus aria and Sorbus aucuparia. Shrub or tree, quite tall.
Ecology UK: (distribution according to flora) Native in UK, occasionally spontaneous, others planted. Specimens photographed were grafted by an individual (locally in France) on the strains of the relatives
Distribution outside France: sometimes spontaneous here and there.

Fleurs : blanches, en corymbes
Floraison France : FI. mai, fr. septembre.

Flowers: white, corymb
Flowering UK: FI. May, fr. September.

Feuilles : Entre les 2 parentes. Légèrement plus courtes que celles de Sorbus aria. Coriaces, ovales, arrondies au sommet, grossièrement dentées, gris-blanchâtre tomenteuses sur la face inférieure, lobées dans la partie supérieure et munies de une à six folioles complètement individualisées à leur base.

Leaves: Between the 2 relatives. Slightly shorter than those of Sorbus aria. Leathery, ovate, rounded at the apex, coarsely toothed, whitish-grey tomentose on the underside, lobed in the upper part and provided with one to six leaflets completely individualized at their base.

Fruit : De la forme d'une petite pomme, arrondis, rouge-corail, sans lenticelles, un peu plus gros que ceux de S. aucuparia (7-13 mm). Graines souvent steriles.
